FAQ’s

How is BREAD different from the podcast or books and videos?

Because of the nature of social media and podcasts, Marlita only attempts to share small insights, quick bits that can encourage artists at a surface level, in a small time frame. These platforms are about sharing. BREAD is about teaching, where Marlita has the opportunity to take a deep-dive and unpack the ideas and concepts she mentions in an episode or video. As for the book, Defying Discord was only designed to answer one specific question, but the KAI framework has many other parts that are not covered in the book.

What is the time commitment?

BREAD is designed for the busy professional. The beauty of this set-up is that, as an on-going membership, it allows us to explore deep subjects in small doses over a period of time. We want to support you, not overwhelm you with a whole lot of materials stuff to do. You are able to dive into the material at your own pace, in your own way. There is just enough for you to digest the material in small bites and have time to reflect before the next bundle is sent out.

How does payment work?

Each month, the subscription amount will be automatically deducted from the payment form you set up. The acceptable forms of payment are credit card and Paypal. The first payment will be taken out on the day you sign up and will be deducted the same day of each month following. e.g. If you sign up on the 18th, your payment will be deducted on the 18th of each month.

What happens after I sign up?

This is a simple deal. Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome email with a link to download your first month’s bundle. Each month, you will receive an email with the next month’s bundle.

How long does the membership last?

The BREAD resource program is on-going. However, you are free to cancel your subscription at any time. Please note, we do not offer refunds.

How can I cancel?

When you sign up, you will receive an email receipt that will contain a link to manage your subscription. You can cancel your membership there. If you lose that email, don’t worry. We’ve got you. Just send us an email and we’ll help you cancel quickly.

Where can I see a sample of the type of material I would receive?

Marlita Hill is a straight-shooter and loves using real-world examples to talk about living a full, liberated, reciprocal life as an artist in Christ. You can find examples of her teaching by listening to the KAI podcast, reading an excerpt from her book Defying Discord, or checking out our videos on IGTV.

Is BREAD really worth it?

In a word – yes! $10 is the cost of the salad you’re going to eat when you go out to lunch. The price of this salad gets you a month’s worth of BREAD: resources to enrich your artistic life and relationship with God. Think of it as an investment in your artistic and spiritual life that will keep you full for a lot longer than that salad would.
